Holiness is to set apart. When we ask God to transform us, some of us might not see the magnitude of our prayers. Don't just expect things will happen by itself and somehow we will just become more like Christ miraculously! I believe after all the sermons we attend, most of us probably know what to expect and what's the right thing to do, so I won't bother to repeat it. However, I see many of us standing at the race track, worrying about lots of things and hesitating to take steps, though the message is straightforward:
Listen --> Obey --> Move (repeat cycle)
[--------Pray------------]
[--------Pray------------]
How many of us are still expecting things to change by itself somehow? (Take the initiative)
How many of us are still worrying about our incompetence and hesitating? (Believe not in what we can do, but rely on God)
How many of us are still running away from our problems/sins and choosing to overlook it? (Don't lie to yourself anymore, it is totally NOT okay, not even close to that!!)
How many of us are too afraid of the consequences? (None of us are capable of seeing the future, but God transcends time and space! Trust in His guidance and walk as He speaks)
